Drive Apex is built so customers and rental companies can trust each other. Here's the full journey from search to handover.
1. Find a verified vehicle
Search real listings from verified rental companies across Kenya. Every vehicle shows genuine photos and a clear daily price — the amount you pay, with no hidden customer fees.
2. Verify your documents
Upload your driving licence and ID. The rental company reviews them securely before approving your booking. Your documents are stored privately and are never made public.
3. Pay securely with escrow
Pay the rental amount with M-Pesa or card. Your money is held safely in Apex escrow — the rental company is paid only after you confirm you have the vehicle.
4. Confirm handover
At pickup, confirm the handover with a QR code. This releases the payout to the company and starts your trip — with a complete, traceable record kept for everyone's protection.
Frequently asked questions
- What happens if I don't pay?
- Nothing is charged and your dates are not blocked. Unpaid bookings are released automatically, and you can resume payment later from your dashboard.
- Are my documents safe?
- Yes. ID and licence documents are stored privately, access is restricted to the rental company handling your booking and Apex admins, and every view is logged.
